How to See the Keywords People Search on Google to Find Your Site
You can track the user’s keywords in Google Search Console and it’s completely free of cost.
If you want to see the keywords within a WordPress dashboard I’ll suggest using MonsterInsights.
MonsterInsights is a freemium WordPress plugin that is used for integrating Google Analytics in WordPress. The plugin is created by Awesome Motive, Inc, which is also the developers of OptinMonster, WPForms, and SeedProd.
Currently, the plugin got more than 2 million active installations. The free version has some limits and the premium one will remove all those restrictions.
Viewing Your Site’s Keywords in the Dashboard with MonsterInsights
First, we need to Install MonsterInsights plugin into our WordPress blog. In this plugin, we can get easy reports from Google Analytics.
If you want to see the Google Search Console reports in your WordPress dashboard you have to connect MonsterInsight with your Google Analytics in WordPress.
Unfortunately, you have to purchase a premium plan in MonsterInsights. Search Console reports are not available on the free version.
Then connect the MonsterInsights with Google Analytics.
Once you connected with Google Analytics then add your site with Search Console, you can view the top 50 keywords in your MI reports.
You can navigate to Insights -> Reports from your WordPress dashboard.
Now you can view the analytics overview report. And go to Search Console tab you’ll see the top 50 search terms from the MonsterInsights dashboard.
From the Search, Console reports you can see the number of clicks, impressions, CTR (Click-Through-Rate) and average position of each keyword.
You can click the View Full Queries Report button it will take you to the Google Analytics website and open Analytics -> Acquisition -> Search Console -> Queries.
You can see your keywords in Google Search Console too.
All done now you can view the user’s keyword to know about keywords people use to find your website.
